Joining a Live Session
For studentsHow Live Sessions Work
When your instructor starts a live session in Quizzibility, a short join code appears on the projected screen — usually four to six characters. Your job is to enter that code on your own device (phone, tablet, or laptop) so you can respond to questions, polls, and activities in real time.
Joining Step by Step
Navigate to quzi.app in any browser. You will see a large input field asking for a session code. Type the code displayed on your instructor's screen and tap Join. If you are already logged in, Quizzibility associates your responses with your student account automatically. If you are not logged in, you may be prompted to sign in first — or your instructor may allow anonymous participation for informal polls.
What Happens During a Session
Once you have joined, your screen mirrors the flow of the presentation. When the instructor advances to a question slide, the question appears on your device and you can submit your answer. Some sessions use peer instruction: after an initial vote the instructor may ask you to discuss with a neighbor and then vote again. Your device will show both rounds.
For open-ended questions you type a short response. For multiple-choice, you tap your answer. Ranking and rating questions use drag-and-drop or slider controls that work on touch screens as well as with a mouse.
Tips for a Smooth Experience
Use a stable internet connection — campus Wi-Fi is usually fine, but cellular data works too. Keep your browser tab open for the entire session; closing it mid-question may cause you to miss a response window. If you lose connection briefly, Quizzibility will attempt to reconnect automatically and restore your place.
Your instructor decides whether responses are graded or just for participation. Either way, your answers are saved and visible to you afterward in your course dashboard under session results.
After the Session Ends
When the instructor closes the session, your device shows a summary of your responses. You can revisit this summary at any time from your dashboard. If the session was graded, your score will appear in the course gradebook once the instructor finalizes results.
