Terms of Service
Last updated: 2026-04-23
1. What this is
Quizzibility is an accessible quiz-and-presentation platform for educators and their students. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms.
2. Your account
- You must be the user described on the account; don't share credentials.
- You are responsible for keeping your password and any BYOK API keys confidential.
- Teachers must hold the "teacher" role only via a valid invite code provided by their institution.
3. Acceptable use
Don't use the platform to:
- Distribute malware, phishing content, or copyright-infringing material.
- Probe, scan, or attempt to bypass security features (the SECURITY.md policy describes coordinated vulnerability disclosure).
- Harass other users via responses, peer-review feedback, or AI chats.
- Cheat on assessments — including by having third parties or AI complete graded coursework on your behalf when your instructor has disallowed it.
We may suspend or delete accounts that violate these terms. The incident-response runbook covers the operational containment path.
4. Content you create
- You retain ownership of decks, code, peer-review feedback, and other content you author.
- You grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your content for the purpose of running the platform.
- We do not use your content to train external AI models.
5. Code execution
Code you submit to coding assignments runs in sandboxed containers with strict CPU, memory, and network limits. Output is captured and shown to you and your instructor. Don't use the execution service for cryptomining, denial-of-service, or any purpose unrelated to the assigned coursework.
6. Service availability
We aim for high uptime but make no guarantees. The service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. Where required by law, statutory warranties remain in force.
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of these terms or your use of the service is limited to the fees you paid in the twelve months preceding the claim, or USD 100, whichever is greater.
8. Termination
You may delete your account at any time from settings. We may terminate accounts that violate these terms or for legal or operational necessity. The Privacy Policy describes what happens to your data on termination.
9. Changes
We will update the "Last updated" date when these terms change. Material changes will trigger an in-app notification at your next sign-in.
